MBSC Annual Meeting is Oct. 9 – volunteer help needed

We're getting ready to begin our planning and preparations for off-season activities and the 2020 summer baseball and softball programs.  The annual meeting of the Middleton Baseball/Softball Commission will be held Wednesday, October 9, 7:30pm at Baymont Inn & Suites. We will be electing commission members and discussing plans for the upcoming season. 

We need help with the following areas – especially the first two: 

  • Concessions
  • League directors (e.g. Rec Softball Director)
  • Volunteer committee
  • Coach & Player development (includes Coaches Clinic)
  • Field Scheduling
  • Sponsorships
  • Umpires
  • Purchasing (Uniforms & Equipment)
  • Technology (website, registration, field scheduling system, communications)
  • Safety & background Checks
  • Capital improvements (liaison with city)
  • Rec Softball & Baseball All Star games
  • Work Days (Spring & Fall)
  • Tournament / Special Event Coordinators (MBSC Youth Baseball Tournament, Special Olympics, Midwest Fastpitch Showcase)
  • Fall Ball
  • Spring Fundraiser (Good Hops beer tasting)

The success of our baseball and softball programs relies on the help of volunteers. THANK YOU to all who have helped in the 2019 season. Please consider getting involved for the 2020 season.
