Triple A Program

Grades 8-9, Typically ages 13-14.

Philosophy:  The Triple A program is recreational in nature and extension of our Pepper League program.  The purpose and spirit of this program is to provide a place for 13-14 year olds an opportunity to develop baseball skills on a 90-foot baseball field.  The Triple A program has no state or national affiliation.  Players are provided with a hat, socks, and a jersey.  Players are expected to provide their own grey pants, cleats, and glove.

Season:  The season will be 8-10 weeks long beginning in late May or early June and continuing into early August.  Game nights are Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays beginning at 6 PM.  Rules follow the Babe Ruth guidelines with modifications made to ensure safety and a competitive atmosphere within the league.  The league will have paid umpires.

Team Composition:  The program director without consideration to talent levels organizes teams.  Teams play against other communities that have organized Triple A teams.  There are no try-outs for this program.  Players who are not selected for the Babe Ruth teams also have the option to play in this league.  Other communities include: West Middleton, Waunakee, DeForest, and possibly Beaver Dam.
