Service Commitment for the 2017 Season

Volunteer Service Commitment from each participating family is required in 2017.

The Middleton Baseball and Softball Commission (MBSC) is a people dependent organization. We need helping hands from everyone in order to be the best league we can be. Our greatest asset is the energy and enthusiasm that individuals bring to our association's activities. To insure the success of our leagues, we require that for every family participating in our program, a parent or guardian must perform service in the league. A variety of opportunities exist for individuals to fulfill that obligation. Service options include:

  • League officer or board member
  • Head or assistant coach
  • Team representative
  • Spring or fall grounds or maintenance work
  • Maintenance clean up of dugouts and diamonds after games
  • Concession stand worker (if your team plays at Fireman's Park)
  • Fundraising Committee
  • Help with Summer tournaments

Do you have any other special talents or skill not listed here that you would like to apply to satisfy your service commitment? Let a board member know what you can do and you are on your way to making MBSC a better organization. We are asking for a minimum of 5 hours from each family in volunteer positions. Not everyone, however, has the time to help the association. In that case, a parent or guardian can pay an additional fee per family in the program to satisfy their service commitment.
