Good afternoon MBSC Families,
The season is approaching fast, now is the time to get your volunteer hours in. We have listened to feedback from families and made some changes in hours and number of events offered to help you fulfill your commitment. Starting this 2024 season, the family volunteer deposit max is capped at $200 and hours per family capped at 10 hours – so if you have 3 or more players in our program, email mwisinski3223@gmail.com with the names of all of your registered 2024 players so he can implement the manual billing workaround.
SPRING WORKDAY March 30th, 2024, 9am-1pm
Spring is here! That means the baseball/softball season is upon us. Before our kids can get out on a diamond and play some ball, we have some setting up to do. Please consider joining us on March 30th from 9am-1pm for our Spring Workday. The more people that show up the faster the work! We will be setting up the dugouts, the outfield fences, cleaning up the concessions stand etc. These hours do count towards your players required volunteer commitment for the summer.

GOOD HOPS 2024 April 13th, 2024, 5-10pm
Good Hops needs your help!! Please join us on April 13th for the annual Good Hops Fundraiser. This is a great event and our only fundraiser for the year with some delicious food from Nitty Gritty, Glass Nickel Pizza and Jersey Mikes. Wash it down with some amazing craft beers. While we hope you all will buy tickets and join us, there are also several opportunities to volunteer and help make this event a huge success. Hey everyone! This sign-up is for the MBSC Concessions Stand at Firefighters for the month of JULY. Many have been asking what other opportunities do you have? We have the fall cleanup and we always need more umpires so please reach out if that is something you are interested in. The stand is open this summer based on game times and number of games. Most people will need to work 2 shifts in order to fulfill your 5 hour commitment per player, unless you have volunteered for a special event. All volunteers must be 18 yrs or older to receive volunteer credit. Kids 13-18 can also volunteer with a parent for the concessions. Kids under the age of 13 will not be allowed in the concession area, so please plan appropriately. Please pick a shift below. You will receive an email reminder 1 day before your scheduled shift. If games are canceled due to weather, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation. Those hours will be considered void and you will need to sign-up for another shift.
